The Tom Luscombe Brook is an approximately 75 km long tributary of the Labrador Sea to the east of Labrador in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador .
River course
Tom Luscombe Brook originates from a small nameless lake at an altitude of 350 m . The Tom Luscombe Brook flows mainly in an easterly direction. At river kilometer 25 a larger tributary flows into the Tom Luscombe Brook coming from the north. This drains the lake Tom Luscombes Pond to the north . Tom Luscombe Brook eventually reaches the north shore of Groswater Bay , about 25 km northeast of Rigolet . The lower 8 river kilometers form a tidal body . The bay is very shallow at the mouth. The catchment area of Tom Luscombe Brook covers 1010 km².
Animal fauna
According to NASCO, the river system has a population of salmon that is considered "not threatened". The Tom Luscombe Brook also has arctic char and the anadromous form of brook char . Seals hibernate in the lower reaches of Tom Luscombe Brook . They also use the water to raise their young.
