Tom Schildhauer (* 1988 in Dessau ) is a German slam poet and cabaret artist.

Initially he appeared on poetry slam and rap stages under the stage name “Der Tom”, but has since switched to using his real name on stage. In 2010 he reached the final of the German-speaking slam championships in Bochum , in the same year and in the two following years he was regional champion of Saxony-Anhalt. In 2012 he also won the Kaktus cabaret in Munich . He then toured the German-speaking countries with his cabaret program "live.exe", in which he addressed stereotypes in nerd and video gamesCulture. The follow-up program is called “Please what !?” and followed in 2014. In this, too, Schildhauer plays with gaming clichés, but also addresses social issues in his texts, such as equal rights for homosexuals or racism.

Tom Schildhauer lives and works in Cologne.
