Tom Six (born August 29, 1973 in Alkmaar , North Holland ) is a Dutch film producer , screenwriter and film director .

Six gained his first experience in the media at the Dutch TV production company Endemol . As a director, he was one of the creative minds behind the in-house reality show Big Brother . With the production sold to international television stations, Six was used to train directors worldwide in the show's technique and aesthetics.

Together with his sister Ilona, ​​Tom Six founded their own film production company in 2004 under the name Six Entertainment . Until 2008 he was responsible for three films in the Dutch language as author, producer and director. In 2009 he became internationally known for the horror film Human Centipede, which was largely shot in English . In 2011 the production was continued with The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) . In the final film of the trilogy The Human Centipede III (Final Sequence) , Six took on a supporting role as an actor by playing himself.
