Tom Taylor (actor)

Tom Taylor (born July 16, 2001 in Surrey , England) is a British actor .

Life

Taylor received his first film role in 2012 as Jake Thompson in Broken Hearts . In 2013, Taylor dropped out of drama school and got in touch with his agent. This was followed by auditions for the television series Doctor Foster and The Last Kingdom , in which he took on the role of young Uhtred in the first episode. In Doctor Foster , Taylor appeared in ten episodes in 2015 and played 11-year-old Tom Foster, who is the star of his school's football team. In the film The Dark Tower , Taylor can be seen alongside Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey in the role of Jake Chambers, who enters a dimension called "Midworld" through a portal.

Taylor lives with his family in Surrey, England.
