Tom and Me and Nibbelchen is a 1949 American animated short film directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera .

action

It's thanksgiving . Jerry is sitting in his mouse hole eating cheese from the mousetrap in front of the mouse hole when the doorbell rings. He had offered to take in a mouse orphan on Thanksgiving and so Nibbelchen is now being sent to him. The letter attached to him says that Nibbelchen is always very hungry. Since Jerry has no food in his cave, both mice go into the apartment, where Nibbelchen first drinks Tom's milk bowl half empty. A short time later, the little mouse discovers the richly laid Thanksgiving table and eats its way through the food.

Tom soon becomes aware of the two mice and the hunt begins. It ends in the complete destruction of a cupboard including china and a Tom, who surrenders to both mice. The three of them finally sit in front of the Thanksgiving turkey, which Nibbelchen eats alone in a few seconds.
