Tomasa Núñez
Tomasa Núñez ( Tomasa Ana Núñez Abreu; born April 17, 1951 in Yaguajay , Sancti Spíritus ; † December 30, 1981 in Havana ) was a Cuban javelin thrower .
In 1969 she won silver at the Central American and Caribbean Athletics Championships, and in 1970 she won the Central American and Caribbean Games .
1971 followed victories at the Central American and Caribbean Championships and the Pan American Games in Cali .
At the Central American and Caribbean Championships in 1973 and the Central American and Caribbean Games in 1974, she defended her title.
She set her personal best of 54.64 m on January 24, 1970 in Havana .
