Tomasz Sikorski
Tomasz Sikorski (born May 19, 1939 in Warsaw ; † November 12, 1988 there ) was a Polish composer and pianist .
The son of Kazimierz Sikorski was a student of his father and of Zbigniew Drzewicki at the Warsaw Conservatory . He then studied with Nadia Boulanger in Paris from 1965 to 1966 . From 1975 to 1976 he worked at the Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music Center in New York City . He then lived as a pianist and freelance composer in Warsaw.
In addition to piano works and a radio opera , Sikorski composed numerous instrumental works, some with the use of a tape.
