Tomasz Witold Wieszczycki (born December 21, 1971 in Łódź , Poland ) is a former Polish football player .

Club career

The midfielder, who was 1.81 m tall and weighed 77 kg, began his career in his hometown of Łódź at Łódzki KS . After a short but successful stint at Legia Warszawa , he moved to France for AC Le Havre in 1996 . In 1997, however, he returned to Poland and played again for the Łódzki KS. His most successful time was from 2000 to 2001 at Polonia Warszawa . With the capitals he won the Polish Championship, the Polish Cup, the Polish Supercup and the Polish League Cup. In 2001 he ventured abroad again and switched to OFI Crete in Greece . Here he was unable to assert himself and returned to Poland after six months. Here he played again three seasons for Groclin Grodzisk .

National team

For the Polish national team, he played eleven games and scored three goals. With the Polish selection, he won silver at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona .
