Tommi Petteri Korpela (born August 23, 1968 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish actor .

Life

Tommi Petteri Korpela graduated from the Helsinki Theater Academy in 1995 . He made his debut as an actor in 1992 in the video film Kauhun millimetrit . A year after his graduation, he had the lead role of Keijo Nortia in the ten-part Finnish television series Nortia and was in the same role his big screen debut in the by Peter Lindholm staged thriller Isältä pojalle alongside Marika Parkkomäki and Martti Järvinen . The German-speaking audience saw him in films such as Lights of the Suburbs and Rare Exports .

Korpela was awarded the Finnish Jussi Film Prize for his portrayals in Miehen työ and Putoavia enkeleitä as Best Actor .

Korpela is in a relationship with the actress Elina Knihtilä , with whom he has had a son since 1997.
