Tomohiro Taira ( Japanese 平 智 広 , Taira Tomohiro ; born May 10, 1990 in Gotemba , Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Tomohiro Taira learned to play football in the youth team of Tokyo Verdy and in the university team of Hōsei University . He signed his first contract with FC Machida Zelvia in 2013 . The club from Machida , a city in Tokyo Prefecture , played in the Japan Football League . At the end of 2013, the club rose to the J3 League . In 2015 he was runner-up with the club in the J3 and rose to the second division. After the rise, he left the club and joined the Tokyo Verdy second division club, which is also based in Tokyo. To date, he has completed 122 second division games for Tokyo.
