Tomonori Hirayama ( Japanese 平 山 智 規 , Hirayama Tomonori ; born January 9, 1978 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Hirayama learned to play soccer on the school team at Shizuoka Kita High School . He signed his first contract with Kashiwa Reysol in 1996 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1999 he won the J.League Cup with the club . At the end of the 2005 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2006 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. For the club he completed 199 games. At the end of 2007 he ended his career as a football player.
