Tomy Temerson

Tomy Temerson (born January 4, 1973 in Hanau ) is a German zither player .

Life

Tomy learned to play the zither when he was ten. Later he trained at the Federal Academy for Musical Education in Trossingen . He took part in the music competition Jugend musiziert and won 1st prize. He then had a television appearance with Karl Moik , which made him known to a larger audience. Ralph Siegel wrote the title Almrausch for him , with which he took part in the Grand Prix of Folk Music in 1993 and achieved 6th place. In the following year he was successful with the new recording of the theme music to The Third Man in the super hit parade on ZDF. At the Grand Prix of Folk Music in 1996 he was represented again with the title Mit den Wolken zieh'n and did not make it to the final.

Tomy Temerson can be seen and heard again and again on various television programs. Together with Alfons Bauer, he is one of the most successful interpreters on the zither.
