Tony Cook

Tony Cook (actually Anthony Cook; born September 18, 1936 ) is a former Australian long-distance runner .

In 1962 he was twelfth over three miles at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth . He did not reach the destination for more than six miles.

At the Olympic Games in 1964, he came eighth over 10,000 m . Over 5000 m he was eliminated in the preliminary run, and in the marathon he finished 52nd.

In 1966 he did not finish at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston over six miles or in the marathon .

In 1963 and 1964 he was Australian champion over six miles, in 1966 in the marathon.
