Anthony "Tony" Harris (* 20th April 1949 in Cleveland , Ohio ) is a former American American football poker players. He played as running back , wide receiver and defensive back in the National Football League (NFL).

Career

Harris played two years as running back for the Toledo Rockets College Football . Before that, he 'd played quarterback for two years, as he had done in high school . In the 1971 NFL Draft , he was selected as the 101st player by the San Francisco 49ers . He was Toledo’s last drafted running back until Chester Taylor was selected in 2002 . The 49ers planned to use Harris as a running back, defensive back or wide receiver . He played four games for the 49ers. In 1972 he moved to the Denver Broncos , but never played a game for them.
