Rule change

At the beginning of the season, the NFL changed the calculation of the win rate. If a draw was previously treated as an unplayed game, it was now considered a half win and half loss. While the Kansas City Chiefs in 1971 with a 10-3-1 record had a win rate of .769 (10/13), the Oakland Raiders with the same record this season had a win rate of .750 (10.5 / 14).
