The 1992 NFL season was the 73rd season of American football in the National Football League (NFL). The regular season began on September 6, 1992 and ended on December 28, 1992.

The season ended with the Pro Bowl on February 7, 1993 at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu , Hawaii .

NFL draft

The 1992 NFL Draft took place April 26-27 at the Marriot Marquis in New York City and was broadcast by ESPN . The draft ran over twelve rounds in which 336 players were selected. The first player in the draft was Steve Emtman of the Indianapolis Colts .

Regular season

The use of video recordings to review referee decisions was discontinued due to the sometimes long decision-making processes.
