The NFL season in 1930 was the eleventh season of American Football League National Football League (NFL). The Green Bay Packers were able to defend last year's victory.
The Dayton Triangles franchise was bought by Brooklyn businessmen and the crew was renamed the Brooklyn Dodgers . The Orange Tornadoes started out as Newark Tornadoes. For the first time the Portsmouth Spartans , later the Detroit Lions, took part in the championship.
