The NFL 1935 season was the 16th season of the American Football League National Football League (NFL). The Detroit Lions became champions of the league .
After the Cincinnati Reds had to stop gaming in the previous year , there were no users of the free franchise for 1935.
If the game between the Boston Redskins and the Philadelphia Eagles hadn't been canceled due to heavy snowfall, it would have been the first season in which all teams had the same number of games.
