The NFL season in 1932 was the 13th season of the American Football League National Football League (NFL). The champions of the league were the Chicago Bears .

Due to the global economic crisis , many teams got into economic problems. So only eight teams took part in the 1932 championship. The Providence Steam Roller , the Frankford Yellow Jackets (champions from 1926) and the Cleveland Indians had to stop playing. As a new team, the Boston Braves started with the returned franchise of the Cleveland Indians.

The team with the highest percentage of victories was considered the winner of the championship. Draws were not taken into account. Since the Portsmouth Spartans and the Chicago Bears were tied 6-1 and had played a direct comparison, it came to a playoff. The game was held indoors at Chicago Stadium due to the winter weather .
