Tony Leondis
Anthony "Tony" Leondis (born March 24, 1967 in New York City ) is an American director, screenwriter and voice actor of Greek origin.
Leondis originally worked as a storyboard artist on such films as The Prince of Egypt and The Lion King 2 before starting to work at DisneyToon Studios . There he was involved in the script of A Kingdom for a Lama 2 - Kronk's great adventure . Lilo & Stitch 2 - Stitch totally wacky from 2005 makes his debut as a director. In 2008 he directed his first computer-animated feature film, Igor .
In 2009, he began to create the computer animation film BOO: Bureau for Ominous Administrative Offenses for DreamWorks Animations . The film, which is based on an original story by Leondis, was scheduled to be released in 2015, but was withdrawn in late 2014 and has been in development since then.
Leondis continued his work as a director for Sony Pictures Animations Emoji - The Film in 2017 , the concept of which was also developed by Leondis. The film received consistently negative reviews.
Leondis identifies as homosexual.
