Alexiane Silla (born July 21, 1992 in Montmagny , Canada) is a Canadian singer-songwriter who appears under her stage name Alexiane .
Life
Alexiane Silla was born in 1992 as the only child of a Franco-Senegalese and a Canadian diplomat's daughter, with whom she spent her childhood in Senegal and Canada. In January 2017, she moved from Montreal to Los Angeles to study music business and production at UCLA Extension , a continuing education facility located on the University of California campus .
As a niece of Luc Besson , she contributed the song A Million on My Soul used for the credits to his film Valerian - The City of a Thousand Planets . It reached number 30 in the French download charts.
Their first single Safe Haven was released in June 2018 .
