Tony Millson

Tony Millson (born November 25, 1951 ) is a British diplomat .

Life

Tony Millson was the first British ambassador to Macedonia in 1993 ; after independence from Yugoslavia in 1991 , Great Britain established diplomatic relations with Macedonia on December 16, 1993. His tenure ended in 1997 and was succeeded by W. Mark L. Dickinson . Tony Millson was sent to the West African Gambia by the Blair government in March 1998 as High Commissioner , replacing John Wilde . His term of office in Gambia ended in 2000, his successor in Gambia was John Perrott .
