Toonage is the debut album by the Danish bubblegum group Cartoons . It was released in 1998 and was a huge hit for the band. The album title is a play on cartoon and teenage words and can mean either "cartoon age" or "cartoon age".

The album features the group's biggest hit, Witch Doctor , a cover version of Ross Bagdasarian's 1958 song. The track peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart . The first single DooDah! , after the American folk song Camptown Races , was also a big hit in several countries, including Denmark, where it reached number three on the Danish charts.

The album was re-released in 1999 under the title More Toonage, which contained more songs than the original.

Toonage reached number two in the Danish charts, number 17 in the United Kingdom , number twelve in Sweden , number 14 in Norway , number 24 in the Netherlands and number 25 in Belgium ( Flanders ).
