The Topçam Dam is located in the northern Turkish province of Ordu in the Pontic Mountains on the course of the Melet Çayı .
The Topçam dam was built in 1997–2009 to generate energy . The stone embankment dam with a clay core is 118 m high and has a volume of 4,393,000 m³. The associated reservoir has a water surface of 3.09 km² and a storage volume of 132.6 million m³. The Topçam Dam hydropower plant has three units of 20 megawatts each . The standard work capacity is 200 GWh per year.
