Game dates
The preliminary round took place from January 20-22, 2012; the competitions of Groupe A were held centrally in Évry , the competitions of Groupe B in Montpellier . The final round was played on June 23 and 24 in Saint-Quentin .
mode
The twelve participating clubs were divided into two groups of six ( Groupe A and Groupe B ) and played a simple round-robin tournament in these . The number of team points (3 points for a win, 2 points for a draw, 1 point for a defeat, 0 points for a defeat without a fight) first decided on the placement, then the direct comparison, then the difference between winning and losing games and ultimately the number of winning games. The last two in each group were relegated to National I, while the first two in each group qualified for the final round. This was carried out in the knockout system , with third place also being played out.
