from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Top 12 2012/13 was the eleventh French team championship in women's chess .

Champion was Évry Grand Roque , who defeated the defending champion Club de Vandœuvre-Echecs in the final. From Nationale I were La tour de Juvisy , the Club d'Echecs Metz Fischer , the Club de l'Echiquier Toulousain and L'Isle sur la Sorgue . Juvisy was the only newcomer to stay in the league, the co-promoters had to relegate directly with CE de Bois-Colombes . For the reported team squad see team squad of the top 12 (women) 2012/13 .

Game dates

The preliminary round took place from February 15 to 17, 2013 in Archamps , the final round was played on June 22 and 23 in Châlons-en-Champagne .

mode

The twelve participating clubs played five rounds in the Swiss system in the preliminary round . The number of team points (3 points for a win, 2 points for a draw, 1 point for a defeat, 0 points for a defeat without a fight) first decided on the placement, then the direct comparison (if it was played), then the difference between winning and losing games and ultimately the number of winning games. The last four of the preliminary round were relegated to National I, while the top four qualified for the final round. This was carried out in the knockout system , with third place also being played out.

Preliminary round

Before the last round, Évry had already secured a place in the semi-finals, while L'Isle sur la Sorgue and Bois-Colombes were relegated ahead of time. The other decisions were only made in the last round, the field was so close together that the winner of the match between Juvisy and Metz reached the semi-finals, while the loser was relegated.
