Topi Lehtipuu

Topi Lehtipuu (born March 24, 1971 in Brisbane ) is a Finnish opera singer (tenor).

He studied at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki . His debut was the title role in Albert Herring by Benjamin Britten in Vantaa in 2000 , followed by Tamino in the Magic Flute at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées . In addition to the Mozart operas, he appeared in Handel's Jephtha and Les Troyens by Hector Berlioz , the latter under John Eliot Gardiner . In February 2010 he sang the role of Adam at the world premiere of the opera Die Trödie des Teufels ( Péter Eötvös ) at the Bavarian State Opera .
