The Toranj na Dajbabskoj Gori ( Cyrillic Торањ на Дајбабској Гори ) or Dajbabska Gora Tower is a transmission tower with a viewing platform in Podgorica , the capital of Montenegro . The name of the tower is based on the Dajbabska Gora hill south of the city .
The building was erected between 2008 and 2011 and cost around six million euros. The Dajbabska Gora Tower opened on October 15, 2011 and is now a landmark of the Montenegrin capital that can be seen from afar.
