Torben Beltz

Torben Beltz (born November 21, 1976 in Itzehoe ) is a former German tennis player and today's tennis coach.

Beltz was in the men's 30th 2014 tennis Bundesliga for THC Ahrensburg.

At the TC Alsterquelle he met Angelique Kerber , who played there in the 2nd Bundesliga ; from 2004 he became her trainer. At the end of 2013 he temporarily ended his work as coach Kerbers, from January 2014 he was then coach of Carina Witthöft . From March 2015 to November 2017, Beltz and Kerber continued their collaboration. During this time Kerber won the Australian Open and the US Open . Less than two weeks after the end of the collaboration, it was announced that Beltz would be working with Donna Vekić from now on . Beltz ended the collaboration in mid-July 2020. At the end of July 2020 it became public that Beltz will train Kerber again.

Beltz has two daughters.
