Torbjørn Ruste (born December 9, 1929 , † July 31, 2003 ) was a Norwegian ski jumper .

Before Ruste started ski jumping, he actively played football . In 1947 the goalkeeper belonged to the junior national team. However, he ended his active football career shortly afterwards, but worked in addition to ski jumping as a coach for the youth teams in Nydalen.

At the Four Hills Tournament 1954/55 Ruste won the jumping competitions in Innsbruck and Bischofshofen . In Oberstdorf he had previously achieved 5th place. In Garmisch-Partenkirchen , he was unable to place in the front ranks because of a fall. At the Norwegian Championship in Voss in 1955 , Ruste came from the normal hill to 6th place. In 1967 Ruste ended his active career.
