Tore Svensson

Tore Svensson (born December 6, 1927 , † April 26, 2002 ) was a Swedish football goalkeeper .

Career

Svensson made his debut at the age of 17 in the goal of Falkenbergs FF . In 1949 he moved to IF Elfsborg in the Allsvenskan . In two seasons he played 22 games for the club. In 1951 he went to league rivals Malmö FF . By the end of his career in 1961, he was in goal for the club 215 times.

Between 1956 and 1958 he was in the goal of the Swedish national team seven times . He was also in the squad at the 1950 World Cup . At the 1958 World Cup , he was also part of the squad, but couldn't get past Kalle Svensson . He also played eleven B internationals.
