description

The peat griddle is a shrub about 40 to 60 cm high. The rough, leather-like leaves are lanceolate, inverted ovate and about 2 cm long. The five-fold flowers of the peat turf are white and sit with short stems, individually in the axils of the previous year's leaves. These form a one-sided cluster . It blooms from May to June. In summer, when the capsule fruits ripen, the flower buds for the next year are already created.
