Torgservis

Torgservis ( Russian Торгсервис ) is a Russian , in retail operating group of companies . It was founded in 2009 in Krasnoyarsk . Torgservis has almost 800 branches (600 of them in Russia) and a turnover of 1.3 billion euros.

The company has branches under the name Swetofor ( Russian Светофор means “traffic light”), Mayak ( Russian Маяк means “lighthouse”) and Mere in Russia, China , Kazakhstan , Azerbaijan , Romania , Belarus and Germany. Locations are currently being sought in Poland and East Germany .

Valentina Schneider ( Russian Валентина Эманнуиловнаа Шнайдер ) officially holds the majority of shares in the Torgservis group. However, the driving forces are the sons, Andrej and Sergej.

Expansion in Germany

In Germany, "TS Markt GmbH" was founded in Berlin-Marzahn at the end of October 2017 . The managing director was initially Andrei Ganus, since July 2019 Vladimir Buzulutskov.

On January 29, 2019, Torgservis opened the first Mere store in a former Aldi branch in Leipzig - Portitz . There are now other locations in Zwickau and Halle-Neustadt .

The goods - especially food - are mostly sold on pallets.
