Tori Franklin (born October 7, 1992 in Westmont ) is an American triple jumper .

Athletic career

Tori Franklin gained her first international experience at the U23 Pan American Championships 2014 in Kamloops , where she won with a width of 13.42 m. Then she was at the Pan American Sports Festival in Mexico City with 13.49 m fifth. In 2017 she took part in the World Championships in London for the first time, where she was eliminated with 14.03 m in qualification . In 2018 she was eighth at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham with 14.03 m and won the silver medal behind Jamaican Shanieka Ricketts at the NACAC Championships in Toronto with 14.09 m . Then she was at the Continental Cup in Ostrava with 14.27 m fifth. In 2019, she made it to the qualification at the World Championships in Doha , where she finished ninth with 14.08 m.

In 2017, 2018 and 2020 Franklin became the US triple jump indoor champion.
