Regula Steiner-Tomić (* 1948 in Thalwil ) is a Swiss theater, film and television actress.

Life

She completed her acting training from 1971 to 1972 at the École Internationale de Théâtre of Jacques Lecoq in Paris and from 1973 to 1976 at the Conservatory for Music and Theater in Bern , which she completed with the stage entrance examination. Further training in singing and dance took place alongside work.

In 1991 she founded the Kurtheater Bitterfeld together with Andreas Altenhof , and numerous projects for this theater have taken place as both an author and director.

From 2014 she developed the environmental theater piece, which had its successful premiere in 2016 at the Kotor Art Festival for Children (Montenegro). Performances in Smederevo (Serbia), Banja Luka (Bosnia-Herzegovina) as well as Berlin and Dessau (Germany) followed. As more and more people become aware of the threat to the seas, she would like to carry her idea further and, above all, encourage young people to get involved in the protection of the waters in their vicinity.

For 2019, the focus will be on the Fish Parliament project . Regula Steiner-Tomić is the idea generator, author, director and leader of this project.

She has lived in Germany since 1976 and in Berlin since 2007.
