Torra Bay

Torra Bay ( Afrikaans Torrabaai ) is a camp and fishing base on the Skeleton Coast within the Namib Skeleton Coast National Park in northwestern Namibia .

The fishing grounds in Torra Bay are extremely rich due to the Benguela Current that runs here . The place can be reached conveniently via the C34 from Swakopmund and via the C39 from Khorixas , but apart from the campsite only has a grocery store and a petrol station. The entire camp is only open in December and January.
