TorrentFlux was a web interface written in the PHP scripting language for the BitTorrent client BitTornado , with which BitTornado could be operated on a ( Linux ) web server with PHP and MySQL (recently also ADOdb ).

TorrentFlux is free software (under the GNU General Public License ) and was developed primarily for Unix-like systems (e.g. GNU / Linux ); In the meantime there is also an executable Windows port, which is no longer being developed.

TorrentFlux-b4rt is a spin-off maintainedby b4rt , a member of the TorrentFlux forum,in which many expansions and further developments of the community initially merged, but which is now based on its own code and has been replaced by TorrentFlux as the basis. With TorrentFlux-b4rt, not only BitTornado can be used as a backend, but also Transmission , Vuze (formerly Azureus ), wget ( HTTP and FTP downloads) and nzbperl ( Usenet downloads with NZB files ).
