Markus Wunderle
Markus Wunderle (born May 7, 1968 in Wieden ) is a German tug of war in the squad of the Bundesliga club Tauziehfreunde Böllen .
Life
As a member of the team of the South Baden Lawn Power Sport and Tug of War Association, he won bronze medals at the World Games in The Hague in 1993 and in Duisburg in 2005 . He celebrated his greatest international success in autumn 2006 at the tug-of-war world championship in Assen , the Netherlands , when he and his teammates from Böllen became world champion in the 640 kilogram class. In Assen he was also European champion. On May 28, 2008, he was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf by Horst Köhler .
