Torsten Benkenstein

Torsten Benkenstein (born December 25, 1979 in Jena ) is a German trumpeter and interpreter of popular pop music .

Benkenstein has been playing the trumpet since he was seven. At the age of eleven, he passed the entrance examination at the Liszt School of Music Weimar , where he studied with Harry Haustein.

After a premiere at Herzklopfen free , he performed together with Regina Hellmann as a trumpet child in his childhood . He was discovered by Günther Behrle during a television recording of the Wernesgrüner Musikantenschenke of the MDR . In 1998 the track Addio was produced with the singer Katharina Herz and him. The duo was very successful in the next few years: victory in Carolin Reiber's ZDF hit parade , victory in the 1998 super hit parade of folk music , award of the golden tuning fork , three times musician emperor in Achim's hit parade . In 2006 he tried to continue his career with the singer Kathrin Raab.
