Torsten Jülich (born December 1, 1974 in Borna ) is a German soccer player. He is a defender and was under contract as an active player with the then top division soccer club 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig until the end of his career .

Career

The trained model maker played in his youth with the Aktivist Borna club , now Bornaer SV 91 , as well as with VfB Leipzig and its predecessor 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig .

From 1996 to 2003 he played in the first team of VfB Leipzig.

Jülich was under contract with the Eintracht Braunschweig association from 2003 to mid-2007 . With this club he rose to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2005.

After two years in the 2nd Bundesliga, Jülich and his club were relegated to the Regionalliga at the end of the 2006/07 season . After that season, Jülich moved to the first division club 1. FC Saarbrücken in the summer of 2007 .

Since the 2008/2009 season, Jülich has been back in Leipzig for 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig . After 58 games and 3 goals, he ended his career there in 2010.
