Torsten Oppelland

Torsten Oppelland (born December 1, 1959 in Kiel ) is a German political scientist and contemporary historian.

Life

Oppelland studied history, political science and English from 1983 to 1989 in Kiel , Brest and Cologne. In 1992 he was at Erich Angermann at the University of Cologne with a dissertation , the German Reichstag parties and their view of American politics to Dr. phil. PhD. He then worked as a research assistant and assistant at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena . In 2000 he completed his habilitation. In 2002 he became an academic senior counselor and in 2010 an adjunct professor of political science.
