Torsten Quidde
Torsten Quidde (born April 24, 1932 in Hildesheim ; † June 24, 2004 in Hanover ) was a German administrative officer, most recently senior district director.
Life
Quidde was born in Hildesheim as the son of the regional court president there. After graduating from high school in 1951 at the Andreanum grammar school , he studied law at the universities of Cologne, Freiburg and Göttingen. During his time in Cologne he became a member of the Corps Silesia Breslau . In 1957 he received his doctorate. iur., passed the exam as an assessor in 1959 and acquired the Master of public administration at Harvard University in 1963 . After various activities in the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Interior, he became head of the municipal department of the regional president in Osnabrück in 1970. From there, in 1971 he moved to the Landkreis Hadeln at the mouth of the Elbe as senior district director . After his retirement in 1978 he worked as a lawyer in Hanover for several years.
