Torum is a no longer existing medieval settlement. It was located in the medieval Rheiderland region in East Frisia, west of Pogum and across from Jarßum .

Torum, also called Tordingum, fell victim to the floods of the Dollart . According to Ubbo Emmius and Otto Galama Houtrouw , Torum was a small town in the south of Wilgum. According to tradition from the 17th century, the town is said to have had market rights and eight gold and silversmiths are said to have worked in Torum, which is to be regarded as a sign of the town's prosperity.

Until 1507 it was the seat of the court and residence of one of the three district judges of the Emsigerland . Torum also had the right to mint . According to tradition from Ubbo Emmius, remains of buildings and streets could still be seen around 1600 at low tide.
