Toshbuloq is an urban-type settlement in the Uzbek province of Namangan in the Ferghana Valley and the capital of the Namangan district .
The place is about 12 km southwest of the provincial capital Namangan . The Southern Ferghana Canal runs north of the village .
In 1989, Toshbuloq received urban-type settlement status. According to the 1989 population census, the place had 7,754 inhabitants, according to a calculation for 2003, the population was 13,947.
