Toshihiko Inoue

Toshihiko Inoue ( Japanese 井上 俊彦 , Inoue Toshihiko ; born February 25, 1952 ) is a Japanese jazz musician ( tenor and soprano saxophone ).

Toshihiko Inoue worked in the Japanese jazz scene from the 1970s; The first recordings were made in 1974/75 with the jazz ensemble ( SAS Family ) of Aoyama Gakuin University and in 1978 with Hideto Kanai ( Concierto de Aranjuez , TBM 1978). In the following years he was a member of the ensembles of Fumio Karashima , Takashi Miyasaki and Takeo Moriyama ( Green River , enja , 1984). He also worked on recordings by Chin Suzuki , Gary Wolsey , Takashi Kako , Mari Nakamoto , Masahiro Sayama , Toshiki Nunokawa ; Ayano Nishikai and Shigeo Maruyama with. In 1999 Inoue released the album Fuse (EWE) V. In the field of jazz, Tom Lord lists him in 23 recording sessions between 1978 and 2012.
