Dead Iceland (from English dead , tots, little guy ' ) is a small island off the Graham Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located immediately north of the northeastern extension of Lahille Island .
Participants of the British Graham Land Expedition (1934-1937) led by the Australian polar explorer John Rymill mapped them. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it so in 1959 because of its small size.
