Tour de la Provence
The Tour de La Provence (until 2018: Tour Cycliste International La Provence ) is a French road bike race in Provence in the south of France .
The stage race was held for the first time in 2016. The first event extended over three stages and led through Istres and Marseille . It immediately became part of the UCI Europe Tour and was classified in UCI category 2.1. In 2020 the competition was added to the UCI ProSeries .
The premier winner was Thomas Voeckler from France from Direct Énergie ahead of Petr Vakoč from the Czech Republic from Etixx-Quick Step , who also won the junior competition on this tour.
