Tour de Georgia
The Tour de Georgia was an American bicycle race .
The six-day stage race took place annually in April from 2005 to 2008 and ran through the US state of Georgia . During this time the race was part of the UCI America Tour and was classified in the 2nd HC category, which was the highest below the ProTour . This made it the most highly categorized race in America , alongside the San Francisco GP and the California Tour . The royal stage led annually to Brasstown Bald , the highest point in Georgia.
