The Tower Peak is a 3,585 m high mountain in the Sierra Nevada in the US - State of California . It lies on the border of Tuolumne County to Mono County .
To the south of the summit is Yosemite National Park and to the north is the Hoover Wilderness . To the west lies Mary Lake , east of the Ehrnbeck peak and Hawksbeak peak . Wells Peak and Craig Peak are to the south . The next higher mountain is Eagle Peak, 12.7 km east-northeast .
