The Perodua Axia is a miniature car from the Malay car manufacturer Perodua .
history
The vehicle was presented on September 15, 2014 as the successor to the Perodua Viva and is the manufacturer's first model to be built in the Rawang ( Selangor ) plant. A revised version of the Axia was presented on January 20, 2017 and September 20, 2019.
In other markets in Southeast Asia, the microcar is also sold as Daihatsu Ayla , Toyota Agya or Toyota Wigo .
Technical specifications
The Axia is powered by a 50 kW (68 PS) one-liter gasoline engine from Toyota . It accelerates the small car to 100 km / h in 15 seconds. Perodua specifies the maximum speed at 155 km / h.
